Bright & beautiful Christmas star card

Stars are one of my fave Christmas images so the beautiful Bright & Beautiful stamp set in the Holiday Catalogue was right at the top of my Christmas list. I also love the combination of blue, white & silver for Christmas, so I combined them into this card we made at my August Christmas class. It's also my fave Christmas card so far this year.
I stamped two of the largest stars with night of navy ink, cut one out with the matching star die, then cut the second one with the next smallest die. I sponged the star in marina mist ink to add some definition & scored/raised the star. You can see it better here.I added a silver sequin (from the Frosted Sequins pack) - don't seem to be able to make a card without these lately.
How to make the raised star
- Score the star from each outer point to the opposite point.
- Fold at each score - mountain folds on the outer points & valley folds on the inner points.
- Attach to larger star - I placed a half dimensional near the edge of each point & four dimensionals in the centre (sounds like a lot, but just keeps it raised).

That's all from me for now - hungry peeps await dinner. Hope you like my star card & thanks for visiting. Back next time with more.
Inky wishes, Di
